Parties Involved
- First Party: Customer / Client
- Second Party: Rocket Cleaning Services
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for hiring maid or housekeeping services provided by Rocket Cleaning Services.
General Service Terms
- The salary, allowances, and incentives for maids or housekeepers are determined by the First Party (Customer) and may not strictly follow Nepali labor law standards.
- The First Party must provide breakfast and lunch to regular housekeepers and cleaners during appropriate working hours.
- Maid services operate on an hourly system, with a standard schedule of six (6) working days per week and one (1) day off.
- Working hours may range from a minimum of 2 hours to a maximum of 12 hours per day within the following time frames:
- Summer: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Winter: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Booking and Service Charges
- The First Party must pay a booking fee of NPR 2,000 to confirm maid service.
- The booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Service charges paid to Rocket Cleaning Services are non-refundable, but the amount may be kept on hold and used for future services.
Payment Terms
- The First Party is responsible for paying the maid’s monthly salary directly to the maid at the end of each month.
- Rocket Cleaning Services acts only as a service provider for domestic helpers and does not handle salary payments between the client and the maid.
Liability and Responsibility
- Rocket Cleaning Services is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage that may occur at the First Party’s residence.
- If a maid leaves the job due to mistreatment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior from the First Party, Rocket Cleaning Services is not obligated to provide a replacement.
- The company disclaims all legal liability for any future legal consequences that may arise from the employment arrangement.
- For safety and verification purposes, the First Party should collect copies of the maid’s original documents, such as:
- Citizenship certificate
- Family contact details
- Emergency contact information
Trial Period and Replacement Policy
- Each maid is provided with a one-week trial period.
- After the trial period, the First Party must inform Rocket Cleaning Services whether they wish to continue with the maid.
- If the client is not satisfied, the First Party must pay the maid for the days she worked, after which the company will arrange a replacement.
- A maximum of two maid replacements will be provided within one month if the client is not satisfied with the initially assigned maid.
Terms and Conditions for NPR 12,000 Booking (1-Year Validity)
- The booking fee of NPR 12,000 is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
- This booking is valid for 12 months (1 year) from the date of payment.
- After the completion of the 1-year period, the client must renew the service by paying NPR 12,000 again.
- Rocket Cleaning Services provides insurance coverage for the maid assigned to the client’s household.
- If the maid leaves the job within the 12-month contract period, the company will provide up to five (5) replacements within the same year.
- The company will provide a uniform consisting of a T-shirt and ID card for the maid.
- If the maid requires leave, the company may provide a temporary replacement for up to two (2) days per month.
- The First Party must inform the company at least one day in advance if the maid will be taking leave.
- While Rocket Cleaning Services will assist in investigations if necessary, the company is not responsible for any future legal consequences.
